Game dev practice- Inspired by Kirby and the Forgotten Land
A downloadable game
An old project I made back in 2022 when Kirby and the Forgotten Land was first announced, trying to recreate some of the environmental design from the game. This was my introduction to geometry nodes and shader graph. Recently, I've been spending a lot of time with geometry nodes again, which reminded me of this project and so I decided to release it.
I had a lot of fun working on it and though it isn't the most professional game out there and was left very unfinished I still love it. I've learned a lot since this project and hope to amplify what it did well in my future projects. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
There are 2 versions of the game- one with warp stars, and one without. I'd recommend with, but if you want the version that was showcased in the video you can try the one without.
